    Wish you’d been at my graduation, and then I wouldn’t be mortified every time I go into my mum’s lounge and see THAT picture!

    Obviously the architecture is stunning and quite rightly, you’ve expressed the kudos of graduating from the uni, but I love that you’ve used the day to day to tell his story as well. The seminar room that you sat in, the smell of the refectory, the bus stop you waited at …. these are the things that register with an individual as their experience of an institution. By using the details of his surroundings, you’ve created images that will trigger memories for him for the rest of his life.
