Becky & Gary’s wedding was our last of 2011 and our first at the gorgeous Hampton Manor.
Unfortunately, on the day, the weather was against us. Rain, rain and more rain! It didn’t dampen any spirits whatsoever though and the wedding was amazing. The party was just as good.
Because of the weather, I asked Becky & Gary if they fancied getting back into their outfits the following day when the weather looked better. They agreed and we got some great portraits of them in the grounds of the venue.
Becky used to be wedding coordinator at The Belfry so I was quite honoured she invited me to be her photographer. They also booked our friends Cartoon Kings and Mango to provide the tunes, and the amazing Ben The Cake Man to make another beautiful cake.
Becky looked stunning and Gary scrubbed up nicely (check out that suit!). I was assisted on the day by my good pal, Gobi Jhitta.
Thanks to Becky’s brother, Mike, for providing the fire!
Now for some Fun Booth action…
And the next day… no rain!
Thanks so much to both Becky & Gary for having us along to photograph such a fun wedding. A great way to end a fantastic year. Cheers!
Natasha & Marc get married next month.
It’s gonna be such a good wedding. Trust me on this one.
They’re such a cool, easy-going couple. I could hang out with them all day.
We did their engagement shoot in and around Birmingham Uni, where they first met.
Oh, and did I mention their wedding is in New York?!
Helen & Andy’s wedding could easily win the Wedding Of the Year Award!
Every single detail had been beautifully planned and they really stamped their own personalities all over the day with personal touches, original details and a brilliant flashmob dance routine immediately after their first dance.
The ceremony was held at Holy Trinity Parish Church, Ashford in the Water before everyone headed to the magnificent Hassop Hall, where, earlier in the day, we bumped into Jarvis Cocker!
A truly brilliant wedding which ended with a rockin’ party. Loved it!
Thanks to the hairy yet handsome Lee Allen for assisting me on the day.
Thanks a lot to Helen & Andy for inviting us to capture such a spectacular wedding. Cheers guys!
Helen & Andy had one of my favourite videographers cover their wedding – the brilliant Jeff Wood.
Check out Jeff’s preview clip below..
Yesterday we held a music photography workshop at our Birmingham studio.
We had a great bunch of people attending and it was a full on day but definitely great fun.
In the afternoon we headed outside to do a few band portraits. Here are a few of my faves.
Thanks to the band for standing in at last minute.
** Our next workshop is for wedding photographers on May 30th **
I’ve been a big fan of Gemma Hayes since I first saw her opening for Zero 7 many years ago.
These portraits were taken in Nottingham this week. I can confirm she’s as lovely as she is beautiful.
