Those of you that follow me on Twitter or Facebook will maybe know that on January 20th we offered to donate £2 to the Haiti Earthquake Appeal for each comment posted on this blog on that day.
Some people were cynical, one even accused us of “crass marketing”, but most saw it for what it was.. an easy way to help the people who need our help most at the moment.
Thanks to all who commented. I’ve just sent £104 to the Red Cross Haiti Appeal. Every little helps. Please do what you can by visiting the Red Cross site (or another site if you prefer) and giving what you can spare.
