We get the BEST clients! We seem to attract couples who are intent on making their wedding day fun for everyone who attends and, by default, fun for us to shoot too. Lesley & Jonathan definitely fall into that category.
Their wedding was held at the amazing Studley Castle and had a woodland fairytale theme. Lesley & Jonathan were recommended to us by the wedding coordinator at Studley Castle, Katie, who has now booked us to photograph her baby’s christening in October too

It was so cool to see Lesley & Jonathan getting so excited about getting married. They couldn’t stop smiling
MARRIED!
Even the string section was cool, dropping White Stripes and Verve songs into their set.
And it was yet another gloriously sunny day.
Time for speeches… Lesley first!
Every table was given a “party box” with all kinds of crazy stuff for the guests to make use of. My assistant Anna is stealing this idea for her own wedding in November
When Jonathan was younger he featured in one of those cheesy teenage comic strips! Obviously the best man had to make sure it came out at his wedding

Studley Castle is a stunning wedding venue but I couldn’t resist taking the couple across to an old abandoned building we found for some more edgy portraits. When Lesley saw it she described it as “gorgeous”!
Afterwards we headed back to the dining room where the couple were surprised when the waiters burst into song!
They soon had everyone on their feet doing the conga!
And the party continued…
Lesley and Jonathan met whilst on holiday and Lesley managed to get some of the girls to sing a version of Abba’s “Fernando” with the lyrics changed to tell the story of how they met.
Covered in party props, Lesley & Jonathan still managed to look like top models 
If this looks like it was a fun wedding, that’s because it was a VERY fun wedding. Thanks to Katie for recommending us and to Lesley & Jonathan for being so great on the day. Definitely one of our favourite couples ever. Who says holiday romances don’t last?!
