Here’s a great wedding from the summer to warm you up during these cold January days…
A very cool, fun wedding. Anna & Chris are ace. Muchas gracias to my right hand woman on the day, Mrs Anna Clarke.

Lucy & Steve were married earlier this year at the venue we’ve visited more than any other – Moxhull Hall.
It was our first time shooting an outdoor ceremony there though and the weather was kind to us. Good people, cute kids, great weather, delicious food, top venue and the most ushers I’ve ever witnessed!
Enjoy…
Congrats to Lucy & Steve on getting hitched in fine style.
Thanks to Nicola from Daffodil Waves for being my lovely second shooter on the day.
Anna & Chris have been together 11 years.
They both turned 30 this year and Chris decided it was now or never, and popped the question…
Next month they get married, with their reception at one of our favourite local venues, Moxhull Hall.
We met up in Stratford-Upon-Avon for their engagement shoot and wandered the historic streets of Shakespeare’s home town…
The beauty of being a wedding photographer in Birmingham is that we don’t have to look far for those gritty urban backdrops that a lot of our clients love, especially for their engagement session.
Our studio is based at The Custard Factory in Digbeth, just outside the city centre, and we can just head out in any direction and stumble upon all the stuff I love – colours, textures, lines, angles, natural frames and character.
Emily & Steve get married next week at Moxhull Hall and opted for the urban shoot for their engagement shoot. We explored the backstreets of Digbeth as the light was fading. I’m sure they won’t mind me saying that they’re not super-comfortable having their photo taken, but that’s a good reason why we do the engagement shoot. Hopefully, they’ll love their photos and realise that making photos isn’t anything to stress about and can actually be fun, but ultimately I hope clients will trust me to make the best possible photos on their wedding day. Come next Thursday, I’ll be ready to rock it
Here are a few of my faves from the e-shoot…

We love it when couples opt to have their engagement shoot somewhere that has significance for them.
Caroline & Mark opted for the area near the canals in Birmingham as it was there that Mark popped the question and Caroline said yes to marrying him. The photo above is exactly where Mark proposed before surprising his new fiancee with a barge cruise with their friends & family. Good work fella!
They get married in a few weeks at Moxhull Hall and I’m looking forward to spending the big day with them…

Now here’s a wedding I’ve been looking forward to blogging… Elesha & Dan.
Such a great couple and their wedding was fantastic. Their friends & family made us feel totally welcome, and Elesha & Dan made our job so easy. It also helped that Elesha looked stunning.
Thanks to the legend that is Tony at Moxhull Hall and the always amazing Anna who was my second shooter on the day.
Enjoy!

Let’s play “Spot Natalie Bartram”

Moxhull Hall never lets us down.

Think I’d better watch out for the competition!

Dan got his girl

errr… Wow!

Seriously one of our favourite couples ever! This wedding was EPIC (copyright Rock N Roll Bride)

Elesha & Daniel’s wedding is one of the ones I’ve been looking forward to for ages.
Elesha’s been my Facebook friend and Twitter follower for a while now and seems to have also befriended some of my other brides who were married at her venue, Moxhul Hall. She’s also got the lovely Natalie Bartram doing her hair for the wedding. Natalie did my 2nd shooter, Anna’s hair at her wedding
For their engagement shoot we started at the West Bromwich Albion ground. Elesha & Dan are both big fans. We then headed over to nearby Sandwell Valley as the sun began to set…

Wedding photos here soon…

Remember Joy & Richard’s white wedding?
One of our fave couples ever and they didn’t let us down with the Fun Booth either.
Enjoy!

Occasionally we get clients who remind us why we love out job so much. Joy & Richard are definitely one of those couples!
We did their engagement session in the snow and their wedding day, also Joy’s birthday, was just as white, just as cold and just as much fun.

I was helped out again by the lovely Miss Emma Case who got these great shots of the boys…

Meanwhile, I was back at Malmaison keeping the girls company…

The service took places at St Paul’s in central Birmingham

Married!

Then it was on to Moxhull Hall…

Time for some speeches

FAVOURITE. SPEECHES. PHOTO. EVER!

Tune in again to see the amazing Fun Booth pictures
Congrats to Joy & Richard. Superstar couple!
This wasn’t just a fantastic wedding. I think we may have bagged ourselves a couple of good mates in the process. I love my job!
