The Wedding Show - Day 2
Today saw Evelyne and I spending our 2nd day at Birmingham NEC for the National Wedding Show. It was sold out and busy all day long with thousands of brides-to-be trying on dresses, tasting cake and looking through wedding albums. With so many other photographers at the show it’s even more important for us to stand out but feedback has been fantastic and we’ve had plenty of people who seem genuinely interested in booking us so we’re really pleased. Aching and tired, but pleased!
One couple are getting married at the church in one of our sample albums and then having their reception at Moxhull Hall, another girl is getting married in Derbyshire and wanted to know if we travel that far. With recent weddings in Devon, Brighton and London and a December wedding coming up in New York, Derbyshire is almost local! Another girl enquired about us shooting her wedding in Italy but we were already booked for that date but we are still free for the girl having a Christmas wedding at the Ice Hotel in Sweden. She’s still deciding whether she wants huskies or reindeer to take her to the venue!
Tomorrow is the last day at the Wedding Show and it’s another sold out day so we need to get some rest and recharge. It’s great fun and we have loved meeting so many new people. We’ve also seen some clients who have already booked us who were at the NEC looking for other wedding ideas.

National Wedding Show at Birmingham NEC
Today has been a full-on day setting out our stall in preparation for the National Wedding Show at Birmingham NEC. It’s the first time we’ve exhibited at the show which is set to attract thousands of brides-to-be over the next three days.
Our stand is all set for tomorrow’s first day and Evelyne and I are somewhat excited to meet plenty of potential clients. If you’re heading to the show, come and say hello. We’re at stand F2.
