Anybody who knows me will know I’m a huge fanboy when it comes to Miss Kathleen Edwards.

Recently I got to see her three times on her UK tour and for the London gig was the only photographer given permission to shoot the whole show.

I’ve been a big fan of Gemma Hayes since I first saw her opening for Zero 7 many years ago.

These portraits were taken in Nottingham this week. I can confirm she’s as lovely as she is beautiful.

The Black Keys @ Manchester Apollo

On Monday night we were up in Manchester to see the magnificent Black Keys at the O2 Apollo.

The Black Keys are Evelyne’s favourite band so we’d been looking forward to this one for a long time and they didn’t disappoint. You can see my review on the Birmingham Live site HERE

The Apollo is where I saw my first ever gig when I was 14 – AC/DC! It’s a great venue and it was the perfect setting for an evening with Ohio’s finest…

Yildiz Hussein is an actress and a beautiful singer. She’s also very patient!

She had asked me to take some portraits for her over the summer, but things were so hectic I only managed to find time for the shoot in October. Hopefully, it was worth the wait….
